Oral surgery is the science in which the pathologies of soft and hard tissues in the mouth are treated. Removal or maintenance of impacted teeth, implant surgery, cyst-tumor removal, jaw joint (temporomandibular joint-TMJ) treatment and surgery, salivary gland diseases and surgery, diagnosis and treatment of jaw-facial pain, diagnosis and treatment of oral diseases, augmentation, oral, dental and jaw surgery operations including reconstruction operations are performed under local or general anesthesia.
